Is April Really Over Already?

I can't believe that this year is already one fourth over! Time flies when you are having fun right?

These past few months have been a real whirlwind with buying and remodeling a house, me and Craig both working full time, Craig in school...BioChemistry is not fun by the way, and the kids starting baseball, dance, going to a new school, Colton learning to potty train, and Anderson learning to walk. Did I get it all?

This post is long overdue, as we have many people to thank for a tremendous amount of help in our house adventures. First off, thanks to Craig for the countless hours of sweat he put into making our home a dream house. There were many all-nighters, and lots of midnight runs to McDonald's(YUCK) because we didn't have a way to cook at the new house.

Thank you to Craig's parents for many trips to Idaho to paint, run electricity to new places, build new walls and shelves, and supervise children. The service they gave us was more valuable than anyone could ever put a price on.

Thanks to my parents for helping to paint the "red" room. It took numerous coats to cover up such a deep color of red, but persistence paid off, and it looks beautiful. Me and dad were able to paint the kitchen together, and we had a great time joking around and sharing some fun conversation.

Traci and Steve, and her friends came up one evening for a "double date," and demolished the basement bathroom. Traci also came up another time to help paint. Thanks to all of you!

Okay......too many people to count helped us watch the kids. Thank you, thank you, thank you! And thank you to everyone who let us borrow their tools. Hopefully we can repay the favors one day.

One final thanks to Josh Ellis and his wife Cami. Josh was our real estate agent and now a good friend, and he was amazing. He really listened to our needs, wants, and budget restrictions. He found us this house before the previous owners were even thinking of putting it on the market, and we can't be happier. Josh's wife and family sacrificed a lot of time away from Josh while he showed us homes all over Pocatello and its surrounding towns. Thanks for all or your persistence.

We still have a few unfinished projects, but we are thrilled with all of the progress made so far.

Amidst all of the house excitement, the family was blessed with Craig getting his acceptance into Pharmacy School at Idaho State University. Craig has worked so hard at reaching this goal, and as a wife, I couldn't be prouder. He starts school this August.
